What is changing?
On Sunday, 26 April, nShift will migrate TMS to a new cloud infrastructure hosted on AWS. The systems will remain hosted in Sweden, which means there are no changes to GDPR compliance or existing data security agreements. This is a planned infrastructure change. For most customers, no action is required.
Maintenance window
Sunday, 26 April, 08:00–10:00 CET
A brief service interruption is expected during this window. Downtime is anticipated to be approximately 30 minutes and may occur at any point within the maintenance period. nShift reserves the right to use the full two-hour window if needed.
Do you need to take action?
Action is only required if your organisation whitelists IP addresses to control traffic to or from nShift systems.
Check whether your firewall or security configuration currently allows traffic to or from any of the following IP addresses:
80.76.152.94
80.76.158.73 (ftp.apport.net)
If none of these are whitelisted in your configuration, no action is required. If you are unsure, ask your IT department or the person responsible for your firewall configuration.
New IP addresses
If you are affected, you must update your whitelist before 26 April. The new IP addresses depend on how your organisation integrates with nShift.
Inbound traffic to nShift (shipment creation)
Used if you send shipments to nShift via FTP, SFTP, HTTP, ApportConnect, or Webservice.

How to update your whitelist
Add the relevant IP addresses above to your firewall configuration for whitelisting. If applicable, forward this article to your IT department or the person responsible for your firewall configuration. They will need to identify which of the current IP addresses are whitelisted in your configuration and add the corresponding new IP addresses before 26 April. Then keep the current IP addresses in place until the migration is complete on 26 April and remove the old IP addresses after the migration is complete.
GDPR and data residency
The migrated systems will remain hosted in Sweden. This migration does not affect GDPR compliance or any existing data security agreements with nShift.
